&lt;P align=center&gt;This analysis provided the opportunity to look at the natural, cultural and historic features of the corridor in great detail. Natural resources add to &#39;quality of life&#39; issues and are often the unspoken requirement in promoting economic development. By embracing our county’s natural resources and using them in a way to add to a development – everyone wins.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;I&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Megan Riechmann of the Southwestern Illinois Resource Conservation and Development (RC&#38;amp;D) will present her organization’s findings which they undertook after the Growth Association’s IL255 Corridor Coalition completed the first phase of a planning effort focused on a 3 mile buffer of the completed and soon to be completed IL255 Corridor from I&#8212;270 to US 67 in Godfrey.&lt;/P&gt;

They volunteer to work at our special events/fundraisers which are the Annual Duck Race, Annual Dinner, Annual River Bend Golf Classic, State of the River Bend Luncheon and the Women’s Conference. The goal of this committee is to teach students to work collaboratively with the common goal of benefiting the community at large. Students learn organizational, management and leadership skills through the process. Each year these students organize and plan a fundraiser. The proceeds from this fundraiser allow the committee to award a scholarship to a graduating high school student and donate to a charity of their choice. Committee members act as mentors for these students and offer advice in the planning and execution of their fundraiser.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The goal of this committee is to teach students to work collaboratively with the common goal of benefiting the community at large. Students learn organizational, management and leadership skills through the process. Each year these students organize and plan a fundraiser. The proceeds from this fundraiser allow the committee to award a scholarship to a graduating high school student and donate to a charity of their choice. Committee members act as mentors for these students and offer advice in the planning and execution of their fundraiser.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The main focus of this committee is to aid The Growth Association in maintaining our visibility in the community. The Ambassador committee provides this visibility by generously volunteering their time to attend our ribbon cuttings, ground breakings, open houses, and networking events. They volunteer to work at our special events/fundraisers which are the Annual Duck Race, Annual Dinner, Annual River Bend Golf Classic, State of the River Bend Luncheon and the Women’s Conference. This committee also assists the Membership Committee in the recruitment and retention of the membership.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
